Automated climate recording in the calibration laboratory
This software was specifically developed for calibration laboratories to record temperature and humidity values automatically and reliably. It enables continuous monitoring of the climatic conditions in the laboratory—a crucial factor for precision and quality.
Features at a glance
- Flexible measurement intervals Temperature and humidity are recorded at freely selectable intervals – e.g., every 5 or 30 seconds.
- Database-based storage: All measured values are stored long-term in a stable database and are available for evaluations and audits.
- Long-term archiving: The recording period can be flexibly defined – from a few months to several years (e.g. 5 or 10 years).
- Device tracking and tamper protection: The serial number of the HC2 sensor used is also stored for each measuring point. This makes it possible to trace which sensor was used in which room, even years later. All measured values are secured with a checksum to prevent subsequent tampering.
- Visualization via integrated viewer: The viewer allows you to display measurement data from freely selectable time periods as a curve. Graphical analysis facilitates the evaluation of trends and limit violations (see Figures 1-3).
- Color marking when limit values are exceeded: Values outside defined range limits are automatically highlighted in color – critical deviations are thus immediately recognizable.
- Compatible with Rotronic HC2 sensors: The software is optimized for use with the Rotronic HC2 temperature and humidity sensor and delivers highly precise measurement data (HC2 sensors are not included).
- integration with MET/CAL®: The application is fully compatible with MET/CAL®, a leading calibration management software. All relevant climate measurements are automatically provided to monitor and document the ambient conditions during calibrations.
- Support for any number of laboratory rooms: The application is scalable: The basic version includes a license for monitoring one laboratory room. Additional rooms can be flexibly licensed.
Adaptation to customer-specific requirements
Upon request, Climetrics can be customized to meet customer-specific requirements or special features—e.g., interfaces to existing systems, special visualization options, or advanced reporting functions—for an additional fee. This keeps the application flexible and future-proof.
License model – Buy once, use forever
Climetrics is offered as a perpetual license: you pay once upon purchase and can then use the solution indefinitely – without any subscription or recurring fees.
There's no expiration date, no automatic renewal, and no hidden costs. Investment security is our top priority.
Should operating systems change in the future or new functions be desired, optional paid updates may be necessary – completely flexible as needed.
Distribution and further development
Climetrics was developed in 2015 and has been consistently developed since then.
What's particularly gratifying is that our software is now in use in numerous European laboratories – including large corporations that rely on reliable calibration processes and precise data analysis.
This widespread use underlines the practical suitability and trust that our solution has enjoyed for years.
